80 California bloggers called The Bear Flag League, challenged in court the Blogger Vs. Journalist argument. The whole story is here by Julie Hilden from FindLaw. Julie points out in the article that the law views bloggers as a publishing company just as much as The NY Times. She also agrees that bloggers are journalist, as in, they publish their own words and are just as liable as the NY Times. Very good article. A must read.
